Windows 7 drivers for Asus Eee PC 1000ha & 1000he

Despite Asus releasing Windows 7 drivers for two newer Eee PC models they left out many legacy model users. I took this as a chance to put together a driver pack for the 1000ha and 1000he and tested it on both of those models... it may work on others in the 1000h series tho.

Thank you for your interest in this driver pack but it has now been discontinued due to Asus releasing proper drivers along with a bios to use with them. This page is kept for archival reasons only.

The instructions vary based on model... below is them broken up in two sections.

1. General
   1. Download the driver pack (Discontinued due to asus releasing proper drivers)
      Note: You will need 7-Zip from http://www.7-zip.org/
      
2. 1000HA
   1. Install Windows 7
      
   2. Install "Asus ACPI.msi"
   3. Install "Eee Instant Key.exe"
   4. Install "Super Hybrid Engine.exe"
   5. Install "Setup.exe" from "Chipset" folder
   6. Install "Setup.exe" from "Graphics" folder
   7. Install "setup.exe" from "Touchpad" folder
   8. Restart (You may also restart when the installers ask you as well)
   9. Things should work as they did on xp for the most part
3. 1000HE
   1. Install Windows 7
   2. Install "Asus ACPI.msi"
   3. Install "Eee Instant Key.exe"
   4. Install "Super Hybrid Engine.exe"
   5. Install "Setup.exe" from "Chipset" folder
   6. Install "Setup.exe" from "Graphics" folder
   7. Install "setup.exe" from "Touchpad" folder
   8. Install "Setup.exe" from "Bluetooth (1000he only)" folder
   9. Restart (You may also restart when the installers ask you as well)
   10. Things should work as they did on xp for the most part
